So now there is no excuse for not buying this extraordinary first novel by Charles Lambert. Go on - you know you want to.

Just read your review, and it's definitely one I'll be looking out for down my local library/

I like your new picture, it's very colourful. I tried to find Charles Lambert in Waterstones here but no joy.

He is supposed to be in the 3 for 2 offer...

Thanks, Rob!

I'm sorry you didn't find a copy, Petal57. As Rob says, it's being promoted by Waterstones in their 3for2 offer, so it should be on the table for the next two or three weeks. Try again!

Can't say fairer than that - the author himself has spoken!

Charles, Hi! I went back today and scoured Waterstones - all three of their offer tables, as well as the shelf under appropriate listings and there was no sign at all of either of your books. No sign in the indie bookshop either, but I will be in there later this week and have a chat with the buyer. She's very keen on new fiction and will be happy to find out more.

Yes- let's have some consumer power!

Well, I've bought a copy. What do I do next ?

Bought, read, and greatly enjoyed - thanks. I doubt I would have picked it up without your recommendation - the 'photo of children's legs on the cover' genre doesn't normally grab me. But this - great.
